These are unofficial replica card readers that let you log in with your AM Pass on Pump It Up. Compatible with Phoenix, Phoenix 2, and all future mixes. They present to the game identically to official readers — the game cannot tell the difference.
Designed and intended for private home setups. For public or commercial setups, I strongly advise spending the extra for the official readers — they're built to take the constant wear and abuse that comes with public play. A set of official readers will run you about $450 these days.
Since these run custom firmware, I've been able to add a few useful features that the official readers are missing.

Your AM Pass can be saved to the device, and you can login simply by pressing the button. No need to have your card present.
Extended Scan Range
The scanning range is a bit longer compared to the official readers. A small quality of life buff.

Custom PETG enclosure. Smaller and lighter weight. Optional mounting holes if you want to affix the reader.
Customizable
Custom enclosure color and LED color available for a small upcharge.
